Type: Whole house refurbishment project + extension, conversion

This project involved the total refurbishment of a Grade 2 listed property in Hampstead Garden Suburb. We worked in conjunction with the clients architects, and also the Conservation Trust and English Heritage. As well as multiple structural alterations, we were instructed to re instate classical features such as fireplaces, cornicing, skirting boards and extensive bespoke joinery throughout. We also laid poured concrete flooring, bespoke lighting systems and underfloor heating. Externally we carried out full preparation for landscaping, and installed a bonded resin driveway and pathway. Finally as part of the project we extended the house, and also replaced 50% of the timber/ crittal windows throughout working hand in hand with a local artisanal craftsman.
The end result was a contemporary home, benefitting from many of the classical features that were originally intended for the property.
